The Technovation program is an international app development competition aimed at developing technology and entrepreneurship skills for girls aged 8 to 18. Created in Silicon Valley in the United States in 2009, the program has been offered in Montreal since 2014.

Each week, teams of two to five participants, guided by their mentors, participate in online lessons and an interactive workshop where they learn the basics of coding, artificial intelligence and entrepreneurship. These activities help them in the development of their application project, designed to solve a problem in their community, as well as in the creation of their business plan.
