Covika App

We created Covika to inform people about COVID-19. Information about the pandemic is often scattered and difficult to understand and therefore our application will present it in a clear and simple way. Our features include an information page, a page to see hospitals and test centers near you, and a self-assessment quiz. We also have a page to view restrictions in your area with notifications and a vaccines page with specific information on COVID-19 vaccines. This differentiates us from other apps, which are complicated and lack convenient features like test centers or a quiz.

Safer Way App

Our app allows users to view road safety scores based on community ratings to find the safest route. There are also several tools like emergency text messages, emergency sound and video database where users can learn several techniques to apply in case of potential danger on the street.

Habitly App

The name of our app is Habitly. The name defines habits that help people be a better version of themselves. We launched this app because we realized that millions of people around the world struggle to maintain positive habits. Habitly would help users get rid of bad habits and build positive habits. Our app contains your daily habits checklist where you can add habits and check off your completed habits. For inspiration, you can go to the exploration page which also contains the challenges, the habits and the objectives page. Your habits are your future, let Habitly guide you.

UBored? App

According to the CDC, 40.9% of US respondents reported at least one mental health issue during the pandemic. As research shows, having hobbies decreases depressive symptoms by 30%. For this, we had the idea of developing an app to encourage people to stay physically and mentally active. UBored is committed to solving the third goal of the SDGs, health and well-being, by generating daily challenges to motivate users to achieve their goals and earn points with which they can unlock new challenges every day. Each activity has been designed by professionals trained in various fields such as fitness, art, education, etc. UBored also allows people to complete a challenge and share their diet achievements.

Spectrum App

SPECTRUM is an educational adventure mobile game that raises awareness of the impact of our actions on the environment. It offers easy-to-learn information while encouraging users to think ethically about their actions and make changes. Each chapter is related to consumerism, such as digital pollution or fast fashion. A continuous storyline, depicting a world overwhelmed by the effects of climate change, ensures that users remain captivated throughout all chapters. Thus, this is an environment where the player is eager to unravel the dystopia of SPECTRUM with a friendly robot companion.

SCIO App

Women United as One has decided to present an app that gives young adults and teens, regardless of background or financial means, the tools to understand the legal situations they find themselves in. SCIO provides complementary and comprehensive information on Ontario law. It's an easy-to-understand set of Ontario laws for situations that young people are most likely to find themselves in. It provides a clear path to follow when experiencing these situations and provides additional links to legal help. We wanted to help our young comrades, by creating SCIO, because no one else would.

EcoUnivers App

EcoUnivers is an application that allows people to reduce pollution. This application allows people to throw their waste in the right bins. Since there are far too many on the planet, global warming is accelerating and there are plenty of endangered species. Luckily, our app could remove some of that. Our application is for everyone who wants to help stop the destruction of our planet.

Buoyansea App

Buoyansea is a mental wellness mobile app for college students and young adults. Tools such as a water and sleep tracker, a gratitude journal and a list of goals will help our users track their habits and organize their lives, thereby promoting mental health. In addition, a thread of information and resources on the global water crisis will be accessible to all users and will help raise awareness on this issue which is not often discussed.

MÿndHQ App

The MÿndHQ app helps users overcome and win their battle against mental health by offering the following main features: mood tracking, meditation, personal development, physical exercises and motivation.

Our app helps teenagers deal with bullying by giving them advice and offering them a robot that answers their questions without judging them.

Trocycle App

This application aims to allow people to barter objects. This app is useful because many people throw away usable items, probably because they don't need them anymore and don't know what to do with them. Thus, with Trocycle, we can exchange our objects for others.

Savory App

Savory is a mobile app that helps young adults learn about food waste and save food and money.

EcoMeal App

Our planet is currently facing very serious environmental problems. 26% of global greenhouse gas emissions are caused by food production. EcoMeal is an app designed to help people learn how to cook, choose the right product to buy, and reduce the environmental impact of their eating habits. We want to target students who live away from home and young people who cannot cook, as they are more aware of these issues.

Magicis Plectrum App

Magicis Plectrum is a writing app designed to help children and teens with depression, anxiety, and stress alleviate symptoms and relieve physical and mental pain. They will have nine empty books that they can edit. They can change the cover, change the title and description, add and remove chapters as well as edit them. This application can be used as a diary to write down difficult moments in your life, or to invent stories where the only limit is your imagination.

Mindroad App

Since March 2020, people around the world have had to join forces to stop the spread of Covid-19. This has caused a dramatic increase in anxiety and difficulties in school for our young people.

To address this issue, we provide anxiety relief and prevention through calming meditations, calming breathing exercises, rejuvenating workouts, and practical to-do lists.

We are here to get students back on track.

Green Vision App

Green Vision encourages its users with many challenges helping to fight against the three main environmental problems in each continent, largely contributing to global climate change, a terrible problem. These projects are categorized from easy to difficult, all resulting in a varying number of points so that everyone can find the ones that work for them. An avatar of the user's choice will grow as points accumulate, going through each stage of the being's life. The application also includes a settings page to meet users' needs, an open space for any comments and a lot of important information about the nature around us, for users to familiarize themselves with.

ShelterNearMe App

Finding a place to sleep can be difficult for homeless people and the pandemic has made it even more difficult. This situation can be very frustrating, as most of the time people have to go to the shelters to see if there are still places available. ShelterNearMe solves this problem by centralizing data on open shelters, whether there are beds available and how to get there. Our app also includes a donation option to raise funds for shelters.
